On Leaving

The time for leaving
is coming up soon
Our great sorrows will
soon be a thing of the past
Realizing the path ends
is essential
Soon - Darkness
and a heavy sense of peace
The cycle of days and nights
will be interrupted
by a small demon
Who is now within sight!
