ON HANDSOME HOOK
On handsome hook
You hang your coat
Your self abuse
Your tired throat
Your sorrows used
Silence chose
You stand accused
God only knows
I painted you
I wrote in prose
When your in need
You find my door
When I plead
You not to leave
You throw a kiss
Nothing more
