On Halloween Night

On Halloween night

Walking down a silent unending deserted road,
When every little sound was igniting a spook,
Lacking moon and stars was the dark sky,
Pusillanimous hearts were heaving a deep sigh,

Reflections approaching, heart missed a beat,
Withholding of breath, air surely did cheat,
Fearful ash faces, mingled hair and spiky teeth,
Fiery red eyes, pulled out my soul and seized,

As I found my blood ooze and freely flow,
Could I resist fainting with a painful pale glow?
Surrender to Halloween without a fight,
Who can ever forget that dreadful night ?

Ghosts of loneliness are obvious to haunt,
Worst fears in mind will however taunt,
Evils and demons in hell certainly celebrate,
Negative thoughts are lethal even if not deliberate!

"Negative thoughts are lethal even if not deliberate!"..Negative thoughts are the demise of a positive outlook on life for sure and will only add to the scary element of a walk in the dark..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

Evils and demons in hell certainly celebrate if we harbor negative thoughts. Good imagery. Every night should be a Halloween Night.Well written Upma. Hugs.
