On Halloween Night

On Halloween night things go bump in the night.

Midnight comes and and soon it will be done.

The veil is lifted between the world's letting the monsters come out to scare all the boys and girls.

Monsters of all shapes and sizes come out for the night and yes it shall be a good fright they may even take a few human souls back with them to the other side.

It is such a horrid delight on Halloween night as all of our fears come to life we scream in terror but their is not escape from our doomed faith.

Halloween night ends when the clock strikes midnight and the creatures of the night have to go back to their side for as the veil closes we must be thankful for the Suns sunlight.

The horrible night is done and Halloween night is gone lucky for us mortals we only have to fear Halloween night once a year.

We are all safe until next year .

We humans are lucky that these creatures are only roaming the streets for one night! I like how you've captured the frightening side of Halloween. Really good work, Kara! Good luck in Gail's contest!.... Welcome to Poetry Soup. I look forward to reading more from you!
