On Eternal Love

I’ve been searching for love
Of every kind and every sort
And found that the most
Joyful passions are the short
Eternity is not true love
True love is eternity
Even though it quickly passes
As it must
But still gives us happiness
Till we return into dust

So don’t grief the love that’s past
Nether blame time’s going fast
We can’t stop the unstoppable
So we better enjoy it while we’re capable
