On Christmas Eve

On Christmas eve
it's hard to believe
that some
don't have a home
they wander streets
plastic bags for sheets
live in a box
they call their own
just crazy they say
but on Christmas day
help keep misery away
give something
to help them along
some may buy drink
others might think
perhaps they're not
all alone

Thanks Line. The best to you & yours. Since I can't use the sleigh, we're driving to NYC on this bright Christmas day. (I could not resist)
