On Being the Genuine You

         Hold on to your gift of poetry,

              Even though a poem might not be a POTD!

          Hold on to your poem, it simply shines!

              Even though commments at times be very few.

         Comments do not make a poem…..it is you!

             Hold close, those poets who are forever true…

        Hold on to God, you are his precious creation!

              Even when friends leave you on permanent vacations.

        Hold on to your truth, for your unique poetic vision.

              You carry within you, words with a spiritual mission!!
