On Being Self-Absorbed

Can you see beyond the end of your nose?
Could you be just a wee bit too confined
To yourself, and the needs of others dispose  
Can you see beyond the end of your nose?
The legitimate worth another might disclose
Who consider themselves of an equal mind
Can you see beyond the end of your nose,
Could you be just a wee bit too confined?
