On Absorbing Truth

All the morals and ethics in the world
As principles and values unfurled,
Mean nothing without appropriation
Into heart and soul with approbation.
We must absorb truth into our being
So inner light we are always seeing
As our guide into the next dimension,
Believing in eternity as a life extension,
Our truth must become as real inside
As real, right now, all in eternity reside.

Too often we allow truth to simply wash over us without absorbing or incorporating it into our being.
