On a Sweeter Note

I scored myself a ticket for a trip down memory lane. Time has surely passed but the music's still the same. Photographs and relics, adorn unaltered tapestry Yesteryears' reflections, still displayed for all to see. My ears a'buzzing with a charm, heart's now filled with joyous glee. Mesmerized right from the start of that majestic melody. Trumpets hum and guitars strum, what a glorious symphony! It takes me away, back to the days of the way life used to be. My sweet sweet surrender, that heavenly-sent scent Bollas and koeksisters as I remember; both so decadent. Their tempting aroma fills the air so lovely and so sweet Coconut, cinnamon and aniseed, still Cape Town's humbly gestured treat.

Enjoyed the final verse! Perhaps change sent scent to just “scent” ?
