On a Goodly Bard's Passing

A goodly bard’s spirit passing in dark sky of night wafts a long way off into bright radiating light. Glad honor; God’s choir now starts to sing.

I love the spiritual aspect of this, the tribute to a respected fellow poet, the imagery of dark and light that so richly depicts the passing into the next life, and the joy of the choir at his reception.

You whip out great poetry like you are making a batch of cookies. I know the poetry is marvelous, therefore, I will assume the cookies are also. Poetry from a quill whose shaft never runs dry. P.S. I remember owning a station wagon, 1969 Chrysler, with wood trim sides and back. I called it my $8000.00 bullet. I had the car about 2 months when a deer ran full speed into the side. Thinking the deer was dead, I put it in the back of the wagon. It came back to life and totaled the car. Fun times.

Man! That be some kinda bard, almost like a blinkin' comet. Enjoyed mucho. You are so prolific! How can I hope to keep up with you? Yes, I grew up in Denver. Denver University used to play the Utes. I remember when Utah had three all-Americans - won the national championship. Gardner, Ferrin, Masaka. Love, Dave
