On a Dark, Dark, Night
On a dark, dark, night
On top of the hill on a dark,
dark night sets a house with no light,
which is quite a fright on Halloween night.
The windows covered with a shadow
shining from the moon light.
Blowing in the wind on a breezy night.
This keeps the creepy crawly things hidden from site.
I reach the porch and what do I see, maybe a
ghost, goblin, or something ready to get me.
I just know it's something that goes bump in the night.
As I look through the door with that old rotten floor in
a dark, dark room it's a black cat.
That's the thing that was going bump in the night
this was what was causing such a fright on this Halloween night.
