Yeah ! , it's a tough life , being a tom-cat , Doris . No , I don't think "hollow" is too wordy . It captures that sense of lonliness so well . I should be very surprised if it is not high on the list . Write onnnnnnnn , Doris . PS Meeeeeoooowwww !!! .... Now , back to sleep .......
