Old School Teachers Get Voted Down

We old school teachers got voted down with a shout
We wanted school uniforms to continue you see.
The young teachers know everything, they voted them out.
Misbehaviors are as rampant as they could ever be!

Why can’t they show their belly buttons? A young teacher asked.
I show mine and my lovely bra straps and my thong too.
This leader is open-faced, not incognito in any way or masked.
Insanity is alive in elementary schools in twenty-twenty-two.

Ilene Bauer October 18, 2022 at 1:44 PM ha! one of the reasons i knew it was time to retire from teaching was when the new young teachers had no interest in hearing what any of the old-timers had to say, but came up with "new" ideas which were identical (or inferior) to ones we had used years before... Caren Krutsinger October 18, 2022 at 10:22 PM If I pipe up in a meeting this is what happens - no one HEARS or ACKNOWLEDGES me. But then.....twenty minutes later a YOUNG one will say MY SUGGESTION and it is not only HEARD but BRILLIANT. I spend most of my meeting times in silence.
