Old Pocket Knife

Been carrying one since I was five, to school and everywhere, moons 60 now
Cut leather, whittle on a stick, never as a weapon, where has common sense gone?
If I was to go through a metal detector at any airport now, the knife would be a tool of mass
destruction!

If it is a keepsake better leave it at home. I like the way that you presented the idea. Keep writing. Sara

Airport security can drive anyone crazy. It sounds absurd, but surely they would confiscate your "old pocket knife" and label it a weapon. How ludicrous! Guess terrorism has taken us to a new level of government intervention in our way of living. What a shame! Love, Carolyn
