Old Man
When a man is young, "I will live forever!"
So is said within his heart
But as a man grows wise with age
Those childish fancies fall apart
For now the old man stands
Upon the lonely barren shore
Standing in the place
Where all the dead have stood before
Gazing out into the blue
Whilst closing of the night
Grasping for his fading dreams
All waning with the light
