Old Jack

Having collaborated, o with just a few
Poetry Soup members,i`ll always give them due
for their kind comments and others even more
one person inparticular, Old Jack, he hits the core.

He is funny without realising,he does so make me giggle
the picture i have of him,a tyre round his middle
over six feet tall, with ginger hair, like a true Jock
stubbon as hell, very proud, and sometimes likes to mock.

His poems very frequently, touch on all that`s kind
his politeness and charm, sure that`s why the ladies find
a caring correspondant,or maybe a walk in the park
my opinion on this gent, is way above the dark.

Happy weekend and thank you for sharing your wonderful poetry with us once again Paul. I am going to try and write some entries for the contests this weekend also. It is still so hot and humid here but we might get some relief next week. Wishing you a weekend filled with joy and inspiration. Love, Carol

Thank you Carol. Hoping the same for you. I see there is a heatwave in the States, i think i`d swap for this English weather, 2 days sun 3 weeks rain , and this peak summer. Have yourself a calming inspirational weekend too. Blessings Paul

Interesting format Paul I like it. A wonderful tribute about jack It is nice to see praise for one another something that many do not know how to do. Yet here on soup I have found everyone supportive and loving. Bravo Carole Cookie Arnold
