Oh, Those Picnics
Picnics can be so much fun
For my grandchildren and me
Sandwiches, cakes and orange juice
And for me a cup of tea
So off we set to our favourite spot
So near to the waters side
Fresh mowed grass we all sit on
In such pleasure, we abide
Noisy splashes, shrieks of joy
The make our day complete
Then lots of kids, they join us too
Oh everything, it feels so sweet
It brings me so much happiness
To see those children, laugh and play
To watch them having so much fun
Makes all my cares just float away
