Oh the Memories
We're just a couple of happy souls
Traveling along love's highway
Doesn't matter if our roads never cross
Each day is a sunny and bright day
I'm conjuring up a passionate scene
In my anxious and eager soul
Of the two of us meeting face to face
Like those wonderful days of old
I've come to accept what's up ahead
Whatever may come my way
But I'd much rather kiss your tender lips
Feel our bodies swing and sway
The visions I have are loving and sweet
Of a bond so trusting and free
I'm dreaming yes but oh what a dream
Locked in embrace you and me
It's amazing to me in my waning years
Not as young as I once was
But relive every one of those precious times
The memory brings a tear, it does
