Oh My Children

Oh my children can't you see what you have done When will you see the path you are on will destroy everyone Have you closed your eyes to all around you Do you not see that we will loose not only the past and present but the future too The earth cries out to me with all the suffering and destruction you have done I feel the pain and anguish and still the cries go on The lakes and rivers and mountains weep at the loss You say it's done in the name of progress but my children look at the cost I beg you all to step back and change the path you are on Save all of my children before all are gone Walk on the ground I gave to all of you Feel the scent, sound, and spirit of all living things around you Change the course the world is headed for Make a stand and make the suffering and destruction be no more Like a loving mother I will always be here to help you Look deep in your heart and know that all I say is true Save all my children from the suffering and pain Bring back harmony and peace to the world again
