Oh Mommy Please

Oh mommy please, don't hit me no more,
my head is still bleeding and my body's so sore.

Oh mommy please, I'll try to be good,
and do all the things that a small child should.

Oh mommy please don't scream and don't yell,
I promise I'll tell them that I only fell.

Oh mommy please don't start drinking tonight,
and I'll be real quiet and stay out of sight.

Oh mommy please, can't you see that I'm crying?
My insides are knotted and I feel like I'm dying.

Oh mommy please, what did I do wrong?
I won't whine anymore, I'll show you I'm strong.

Oh mommy please, mommy why can't you see
all that I want is for you to love me?
