Oh Lake O Water surrounds Birds chirp River flows out to the lake Steady High Trunks of trees under water Top of trees like cauliflower Ebb Flow Sailboats don’t notice But the old lighthouse almost kisses the blue water Clouds look down on the blue Wide like the ocean Harbouring life North American border born of past glaciers Flocks of birds glide by Swans dive, devouring the rich bounty The air is peaceful The feeling is divine I call it home...
