Oh, God
God, how can I honor You?
In worship, praise, in spirit true?
It cannot be; can't be contained
Worship honor, can't be feigned
For You, the searcher of each heart
Can tell the true, or false apart
How can I honor You; Oh God?
With more than just a passing nod
In buildings that are made by hands
Beneath the sky on earthen lands
For You, in every single place,
You shine, in inner; Outer space
May I ever seek Your face
To worship You, Oh God
Draw me closer, footstep, each I trod
For I see you in the brilliant skies
Your Father's song, in lullabies
I see You
In the universe
I hear Your voice
Scripture and verse
I'll lift my prayerful gratitude
Not just a word, nor platitude
To You, my God
You are my God
In awe
Beseech;
Forgive my flaw
To fail to honor You
In worship, praise in
Honor true
Oh God,
I long for You each day
But, You are here,
You hear us pray
With my heart
My breath, my song
Join with praise
Eternal long
I lift my prayer,
Your Majesty,
I long to honor,
Worship Thee
