Oh Come Immanuel
Oh Come, Oh Come Immanuel,
For we have recreated hell,
We’ve made our world a place of greed,
And church is time to argue creed,
We need you now Immanuel,
Not later, not soon, but now,
For we cannot decipher how, to live together in harmony,
Rise up in us Immanuel,
Rise up in me so I meet see,
The beauty of your progeny,
So I might long to serve all men,
And not neglect my female equals,
So I might love with all my self,
And embrace all your people,
Oh Come, O Come Immanuel,
For my heart is stone and is not flesh,
And I am enraged by this world’s mess,
I am not passing this your test,
To love the hive despising stress,
Oh Come, Oh Come Immanuel,
For Heaven is what I long for,
But not a heaven far away,
But rather heaven here today,
So we might say without a hesitation,
I love you brother, sister with Divine the inspiration,
Oh Come Oh come Immanuel,
And save us from this man made hell,
So we may tell our children true,
Of how you came to save us too,
We savage many, we savage few,
Renew us to serve with you anew,
So we might learn not to accuse,
Not to abuse,
But rather sing with heaven’s muse,
Oh Come, Oh Come Immanuel,
I choose you, and they do too,
Whether we know it or not,
We like Lot shall not look back,
When you save us from this weary lack,
Of love and intercession,
Oh God redeem us in your passion,
Let us humble ourselves and turn from wicked ways,
That you may redeem this dawning day,
Of Renaissance.
