Oh Canada

i celebrate having
met great poets 
David and especially
Maureen both from
way up north but
not in the sense of
north that Johnny
Horton sung about
because his song was
about Alaska and i'm
writing about Canada

you gave us Michael
Myers not to be
confused with 
Halloween movies
and Neil Young not
to be confused with
Neil Old from down
under but the
understatement of
all is the gene splicing
or mutation of genius

He comes up ;) I have a host of Canuck heroes. Jeff Connelly May 15, 2019 at 6:29 PM I really have been watching a lot of Norm McDonald. He is so amazing to watch. When he is telling a long joke/story he seems to be winging. Always segueing with other humorous bits, but gets back to the joke and sometimes the punch line isn't as funny as some of his asides. But I've also watched him on the spot come up as quick as a whip with the funniest lines. Wow you should be proud Canadians.
