Oh, No, Here She Comes Again

Oh, No, Here She Comes Again

By Elton Camp

The pressure she brings is hard to bear
For me to endure it every day isn't fair

The truth that I tell she will ignore
Just as she's done many times before

Whenever she receives my true rating
What she learns, she's always hating

But it is impossible for me to tell a lie
Although I'm sure she wishes I'd try

For her to continue to step on me
If I can help, will no longer come to be

If only I can stay out of her sight,
It will bring me so much delight

But I fear that my plan will fail
It's hard to hide a bathroom scale

Great poem! I really did enjoy reading it today, and it was amazing how I thought you were speaking of a friend but it was your bathroom scales. (smile)

On my main posting site Scribd.com I was able to include a picture of the scales hiding behind the door. Thanks for reading. Elton
