Ogres and Monsters
Ogres and Monsters
Give us all a fright
They are always ugly
A really awesome sight
Some have huge dirty teeth
And long matted hair
All over their body
As they mean to scare
All the little children
That cannot fall asleep
Cos underneath their beds
These Ogres and Monsters peep
This is very worrisome for the little ones
Who lay in bed shaking
In case out that Monster comes
To bite them on their noses
Or even on their bums
The children are not feeling brave
And give out a mighty scream
Then their Mums come hurrying in
To tell them it's just a dream
Thank goodness think the children
An answer to their prayer
Cos when they wake up next morning
No Ogres or Monsters will be there
