Off To College In 2020

Kaylie's off to college
  A coed stricken with worry
Not of coursework or career
  But fear of being buried

This is so sad; because of the truth of it. If we had locked down the USA for two months, and everyone had participated, this would be over.

Best wishes to Kaylie, it's been a really hard year for grads or freshman, and she was BOTH. She'll do fine, I'm sure. Thankfully, kids are resilient.

My son is living at home with us, studying remotely. Thankfully, he's pretty introverted, so doesn't mind much. Glad my daughter's out already, would have been murder on her! Congrats on your December grad, my friend.

For all we know, Kaylie's already been sent home already: Either the college shut down, or they're closed for intensive cleaning for a week. So many are going that route. Scary stuff. Glad my own kids finished up; last one graduated in December. Whew! :) gw

This one really hit home, Gershon. My granddaughter starts college today. When her mother entered college 21 years ago, I had concerns--of course--but they were very different! Janice

I hope your granddaughter stays healthy, Janice! So many colleges are opening and closing. Notre Dame and Michigan State University just shut down their openings yesterday. Signs of troubled times. Good luck!!!! Faith and Trust, Gershon
