Of Stories

The stories have been told
 Of the days of old.
Some are about a holiday.
Others are to scary to say.
Books of stories are sold
 While few can't be retold.
Past stories of yesterday
 Are shown as a play.
Many come from men so bold
In quests of honor to uphold.
Fade in time some may.
Although in our hearts some stay.

I like your sweet, short and impactful rhymes. This box doesn't like the word 'impactful', but I'm a poet, I mean it and I'm leaving it! CayCay
