Of Justice and Pride

Never blind,
Yet radiant and fair,
Feared far and wide,
The one true heir,

Gods only equal,
Scorn of smaller minds,
Enlightened her lover,
Found them both in binds,

Cast down in Shadow and Flame,
Eternally apart,
Striped of Sight and Name,
Vengeance filled the Heart,

Not vengeance, my love,
Punishment is set,
From ashes raise a Dove,
The messenger of Death.
