Of Hearts and Flowers
OF HEARTS AND FLOWERS
Today, we celebrate St. Valentine
With flowers and chocolates galore
We say to someone “please be mine”
And I'll love you evermore
We see cupid's arrow shot so straight
Into some lover's waiting heart
This tiny arrow sealed their fate
They were destined from the start
There are roses by the dozen
And heart shaped chocolate boxes
Love words are really buzzin'
From men as sly as foxes
So, ladies beware of cupid's bow
Don't take unnecessary chances
Men will not be slow
In casting furtive glances
Before too long, wedding bells ring
Your man didn't get away
And all because of one little thing
They call it Valentine's Day
