One Day I'll Be Famous.

One day I'll be famous
I will, I'll go far.
You will know when I am famous
I'll shine just like a star.
I'll sing and dance and an actress
I will be.
Yes one day I'll be famous
just you wait and see.
One day I'll be famous
I'll have the last laugh
when you stand as one of my fans
after a signed autograph.
Then you'll look on me from afar
just what I'll have done.
Cause I will be a star
to have pleased everyone.
You may take time to see
all I have achieved
It could have all been your's of course
if only you'd believed.

Good work, Patricia! validation & recognition is a valuable boost to ones self-esteem, for sure, from my experience (60 yrs) I discovered I know exactly my shortcomings & if I work on them, my contributions (love) to those around me & in nature multiply, which organically brings my own validation & surprisingly, from others! jimbo

Thank you jimbo for your loving remarks. I wrote those words way back 16/11/2010. in the early hours when I can't sleep for words swirling around in my head. This happens often to me. But I am retired also in my 60's and time is my own. Ha aah! I love to write. I don't know why because i never liked school.
