Ode to the Moon

Praises be to the moon my beloved Goddess
Blessing me with your sacred moonlight
Protecting me with the veil of night
Your beauty above ever so modest

The dark moon providing renewal
The waxing moon, growth that empowers
The full moon blooming like a flower
The waning moon, repeling the cruel

Under cold night skies I find warmth
Knowing that I am being watched over
By the Lunar Goddess of magic's cover
Enchanting me like a piece of clear quartz

Let my porcelain skin serve as a reminder
To all around of your constant presence
Radiating of your so powerful essence
And making the world a little bit kinder
