Ode To My Other Half

The love you have given me
Is unmatched by all
Now conquered is the obstacle course of my heart
You climbed the ropes… You scaled the wall

I’ve been freed from my prison
By your unbridled passion
Admirable indeed
Is your selfless fashion

Though liberated to do as it pleases
My essence belongs to you
No longer am I one soul
But now I am made of two
