Ode To My Love

On life’s long path,
I never knew,
That the man I loved,
Was forever you,
"Where have you been?
Darling my love,
Awoken from sleep, 
With kisses of love,
Chances glances, 
Long romances,
Into my arms,
Darling my love,
Sent from above, 
Fallen in love,
God-given, 
Forever true,
O my darling 
I do love you,
Your beauty, 
You’re strong,
Sweet scented song,
Music of love,
Entwining our love,
Two people being one,
Sharing and fun,
Enjoying and living,
Caring and sharing,
Love that’s returning,
Heartfelt and burning,
Longing and yearning,
Life full of learning,
Come, 
Darling, 
Sweetheart, 
My love,
Into my arms,
With kisses,
My love,
Into that place, 
Our place of love"
