Ode To My Garden Roses
Roses -delightful when they first appear
in spring
Roses –in my garden with multi hues
you sing
Roses – red and yellow, some pink, some tinged
with blue
My garden would be empty were it not
for you!
Roses -delightful in the summer still
to see
Roses rebirthing ; giving nectar to
the honeybee
Roses tantalizing hummingbirds
so small
Standing with such elegance, always you
stand tall
Roses – in the autumn even then I see
you bloom
Roses underneath the sun or dreaming with
the moon
Roses – until winter – perpetual
are you
I always know you will return. My love for you
is true
