Ode To My Father
Your a angry young man said a father to son
Came out from his lips
As he was forever giving tips
Still these words are what I remember about that frozen December
The wind was so bitter it cut me in half
But not half as much as my Father's remark
With Christmas upon us the season for giving
I sat in that cold and wondered why i was living
Why get out of bed , Why open my front door
If all i was living for was to settle a score
Valley's of excuses are an affront to the World
When your wrapped up so tightly in your own selfish World
I took you for granted like the sun in the sky
I always expected that glint in your eye
Now time has deceived us , Youv'e since been moved on
and all i can think of is our time and this place
But I promise you this ,
Ill show you a face that will light up all Space
When i next see your face
Like a juicy raw onion on an old chopping plate
I didn't take the time to appreciate
That man so great
Thinking of you bring's a tear to my eye
Why "O" Why did you have to Die !
