Ode To Devotion
Seclusion brings forth such a boring and dismal life.
To be shy, to be coy; no love only blight.
What once was a heart full of happiness and glee.
Turned cold to the touch. Wheres the one to intervene?
Traveling to and forth down a street with no lights.
No map to determine. Maybe left, maybe right
Wheres the warmth and the touch? The joy and the love?
Only sadness and darkness and one lone star above.
One star shining bright in this huge and vast sky.
The blackness more bold in this wicked design.
Go run with the dogs. Let fate take its course.
Never to discover, to only feel remorse.
But there is a light and it never goes out.
For through the years only the strong and devout
Turn this flicker into flame, awaking whats inside.
Opening the hidden door to a World full of life.
