Ode To a Conscience
Meant to be a human being
What the heck is that thing?
To wrap oneself in hiding
Peace is still residing
Went half-mad in middle-school
Was all I did was drool?
The Bible somehow guiding me through
Or else life would be la-pew!
Went through high-school; noticed a thing
Satan will not be my king!
The darkness of not caring
Still a life worth caring!
So forget the apathy
Jesus is alive in me!
