October Hope
October light,
burnt against pumpkin colored tree skin,
lit with autumn secrets which only nature knows
October sky,
blue as ocean frigid,
promising to bring the cold as winter mushroom grows
October song,
written in the minor, mourning key
sad and soulful warning to hibernate your sun-starved, liquid dreams
October ending,
letting leaves dissolve, understanding warm rebirth
is the other side of the cycle to be blossomed: faith, belief...
