Larry Belt Poet Haiku

October 31st

A ghostly wind sings
Scattered leaves on their death bed
Screams fill the silence

The full moon watching
Branches reaching for your hand
The shadows follow

Graves no longer full
The night of the living dead
Happy Halloween
