October

oak trees twinkle with red and brown elves
in the form of leaves, sparkling and pretty
Pumpkins roll off the vine, all fat, some round
The corn is in various states of anguish
October sees a haze above the field
So much activity under the floating clouds

Lovely. My seasonal depression is in full swing. Lost a dear old friend on Sunday afternoon...cancer. He was five years younger than me. Makes me wonder.
