October

O-ctober flames of pumpkin eyes, stoked.
C-reepy coldness at our backs. Tales
T-old with ale — the headless horseman.
O-ff he rides in the wind.
B-rr, wind wool scarf ‘round neck.
E-ars shudder as the narrator says,
“R-est your heads for awhile, friends.”

You've got a winner here Kim! I enjoyed it so much since I reckon October is my favorite month (in fact the fall season in itself) is my favorite time of the year. Glad you enjoyed a bit of my nonsense describing the pitiful sot Clyde O'Toole. Best on you - Bob
