Oceans Will Rise
That look in a child's eyes is fright:
they're afraid of global warming.
They fear the scientists were right:
consequences of transforming.
Climate change can
devastate Man.
Its effects are kept out of sight
by trickery and sleight of hand.
Old dogs of war, once trained to bite,
don't even try to understand.
Oceans will rise,
despite their lies.
