Ocean Serenity

Sitting on a blanket watching ocean waves,

 Pleasantly drunk while the sun warmed our faces.

 Toes touching, shoulders touching , lips touching,

  Fingers entwine as heartbeat races.

  All serious thoughts banished from our minds

  Leaving tender serenity that love encases.

Travis Tapley April 28, 2010 at 6:53 PM What is it about the ocean that makes love even more grand? I love the last line in this poem. I also love the thoughts that have been banished from the minds. The joy of being together as one. Really wonderful poem!
