Ocean Delight

A mass of blue Against a sunlit sky Seagulls fly Whooping and whipping with the tide Sailboats glide Glide they may into that Sunlit bay Waves crash on the shore And hit the wet slick rocks Clashing and clashing with all their might The sand feels like grits beneath my feet Coating them and holding tight The fresh water tickles my toes as I walk closer To its shores. The soft breeze of the ocean Brushes threw my long brown hair As I watch the waves capsize over there The sun glistens on the waters Twinkling twinkling Oh what a beautiful sight
