Oblivion

Oblivion's a lonely place, Where no one wants to be. No ladder of success to climb, Or bathe in victory. Forgotten swirling mists of time, A lock without a key. Where out of sight it will remind, No hope just misery. Unworthiness without a thought, That stifles any plea. It neither recollects the past, Nor how it used to be. Insouciance with no concern, It's vacant stares agree. Oblivious, how it disregards, It's silent cruelty. 12/ 8/ 2015.
