Oasis At Heart of City

There is a … A tranquil sanctuary at the heart of a busy city… Not many colourful flowers, but shady trees, and lush green bushes, A serene pond with emerald water quivering with rustling breeze, Rocks of different sizes and shapes scattered around - one reminds me of lying Buddha, peaceful and calm, another - Buddha in meditation - folding his legs in a lotus posture. There are a few stone-benches around the pond .. for lazy folks like me! who savour watching! ducks and turtles are only water-creatures I could see, some fishes…circling around carefree, Wish a scintillating mermaid from a magical world would appear from the bottom of the turquoise water, to spread her charm around… Sun shining in crystal water …scattering rays in the rippled mirror ....
