O Wondrous Cheetahs
O praise be to our glorious Maker
for bringing us O wondrous cheetahs.
That man of science
has named before us:
Acinoynx Jubatus species.
Let their mighty strength be prudent
in that they may outlast time.
As much as they fear not
of exiting our world
help us to be
ever so meek
towards them.
Not only for today,
but also for every other day.
For our glorious Maker
stands before us
with golden scales.
Only to weigh the
earthly delight
of each and every
earthly creature
against our very sins.
For we have
widened our feet
here and there.
So as we reign
across the earth
we must be
put to blame
for every thing
we trample on.
Amen! Amen!
