Numb

How do you feel pain when you're numb to the world
Vision is not the same, but we look for comfort in the world
Grudges being held and friends turned to enemies
Can't act like this is new, It's been going on for centuries
To escape life, I use my pad and pen
I don't talk much so my feelings fall through my hand
Family says I'm too bottled up, but I have my reasons
I can't sit and act like my life is like the Four Seasons
Hurt so much, I've learned to dull the upsets
As I sharpen my mind, to feel no regrets
I don't apologize for these feelings and never will
So you won't see the words I'm Sorry in my Will
